Creative Thinkers and Their Habits

Innovative and Creative thinkers are effected by their emotional intelligence. It is proven that people who are highly creative are continually growing and progressing. They constantly question themselves as well as others.

EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE ARE VERY CONFIDENT BUT THEY HAVE AN OPEN MIND

Emotionally intelligent people realize they are wrong sometimes and that their ideas are not always brilliant. However, they do have the confidence to believe that they can adjust their ideas, perhaps in collaboration with others, in order to create the perfect solution. They don’t see setbacks as permanent failure and are always envisioning ways to position themselves back on top. They see failure as a way to bring any malfunctioning ideas to light so they can ultimately become stronger than before. Most of the great innovative minds failed over and over before finally achieving success. Innovators see failures as temporary and immediately look for ways to rise beyond their position before the setback.

INNOVATORS DON’T HAVE INFLATED EGOS

Emotional intelligent people are open to ideas of others and realize that they are not the only ones with brilliantly innovative concepts. They don’t think their ideas are always the best. With this perspective, they can collect multiple ideas and then select and develop the one that is best.

INNOVATORS ARE ALWAYS CURIOUS

Emotionally intelligent people are curious about everything. They’re always looking for new ideas that they can develop. Every person they talk to is seen as possessing some knowledge that may be beneficial to them.

THEY ARE GOOD LISTENERS

Emotionally intelligent people process information well. Because of this they are excellent listeners. Good listeners are able to focus not only on the words that are being spoken, but are aware of the tone of the words, the body language expressed, and the emotions behind them. This allows the individual to not only absorb valuable information but develop strong relationships with others. We all want to be truly heard and when we feel that someone is intently and sincerely listening to us, we want to engage with that person.

EMOTIONS DON’T AFFECT CREATIVE PEOPLES INNOVATIONS

Emotionally intelligent people see failure as a process—this takes them one step closer to being their best self. They don’t have to defend an idea that is proven to be wrong as they’re seeking to advance themselves personally and are looking to advance their ideas. Emotionally intelligent people just love to create because this fills their soul and life purpose.

EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE CAN TAKE DIRECTION

Emotionally intelligent people can express their emotions in ways that don’t offend others and are assertive but not aggressive. They take direction well and also give direction successfully.

CREATIVE AND EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE EMPATHIZE WITH OTHERS

They help others to feel comfortable. To understand someone empathy must be shown. An emotionally intelligent person realizes that the people involved are more important than the product or service presented.
